Our Statement of Faith

About God

We believe that God is the only one Triune God-the Father, the Son the Holy Spirit-co-existing equally from eternity to eternity. He is the Creator and the Ruler of the universe. (Gen 1:1, 1Tim 2:5a, Matt 28:19, 2Cor 13:14, 1Pet1:2)

About Jesus Christ

He is the Son of God. He is co-equal with the Father. He incarnate to become a man, born of virgin birth and lived a sinless human life to make God the Father known to men. He died on the cross for our sins and shed His blood for the accomplishment of our redemption. He arose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He ascended to Heaven and will return again someday to earth to establish His eternal Kingdom. (Jn 1:1, 1:14,18 Matt 1:23, Acts 10:40, 2:33,26, Acts 1:8, 1Thes 2:19)

About the Holy Spirit

The Holy Sprit is co-equal with the Father and the Son of God. He is moving on this earth today to convict sinners, to regenerate God’s chosen people. He also lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation and provides the Christian with power for living, understanding spiritual truth and guidance in doing what is right. He is the giver of spiritual gifts for the building up of the Body of Christ. As Christians, we seek to live under His control daily. (2Cor 3:17, Jn 16:7-13, 14:16-17, Acts 1:8, 1Cor 2:12, 3:16, Eph 1:13, Gal 5:25, Eph 5:18)

About the Bible

The Bible alone is written Word of God. It was written by human authors inspired by the Holy Spirit. Because it is inspired by God, it is the truth without any mixture of error. It is the supreme source of truth for Christian beliefs and living. (2Tim 3:16, 2Pet 1:20,21, 2 Tim 1:13, Ps 119:105.160, 12:6, Prov 30:5).

About Man

People are made in the likeness and image of God. Man is the supreme object of God’s creation. Although every person has tremendous potential for good, all of us are marred by an attitude of disobedience towards God called “sin”. This attitude separates man from God and causes many problems in life.  (Gen 1:27 Ps 8:3-6; Is 53:6a’ Rom 3:23’ Is 59:1,2)

About Salvation

Salvation is God’s free gift but we must accept it before it can become ours. We can never make up for our sin by self-improvement or good works. Eternal salvation is by grace through faith, not by our works. Eternal life begins the moment one receives Jesus Christ into his life by a living faith in His person and in His work of salvation. Once we are saved, we are saved forever. (Rom 6:23, Eph 2:8.9; Jn 14:6, 1:12; Tit 3:5; Gal 3:26; Rom 5:1, Jn10:29; 2 Tim 1:12)
